Travel To Aruba!

After months and months of doing the same thing everyday in quarantine, my appetite for traveling has grown tremendously. And I'm assuming yours has too since you clicked on this page.

Obviously, traveling is going to be a little different than normal due to the circumstances of Miss Corona. So let's get prepared... Corona style!

The government of Aruba, aided by the Department of Health, has created a list of states in the United States that requires additional COVID-19 testing requirements. Below are the states that are on that list.

You can do additional research on your state to find the exact details of this precaution at the COVID-19 Testing Requirements page

The Aruban Florin

First things first, let's talk about money! Personally, I think it's easier to budget your trip when you use cash instead of credit cards and such. It's much easier to swipe and lose track of your current funds when you don't have them physically in your hands. I recommend that you exchange your USD to AWG (the Aruban Florin). Currently, 1.00 AWG is equivalent to 0.54 USD. You can find currency exchange kiosks at the airport or in tourist areas. You of course have the choice to use your bank credit and debit cards. It's all preference!!

Let me help you start planning your spring break trip! You can change the dates accordingly to your vacation, but for this example I will be using March 14, 2020 - March 26, 2020 for two guests.

Aruba has some of the most beautiful beach view resorts and hotels! They also have a variety of different Airbnbs available on the app. I found this beautiful 1 bedroom condo for 2 in Malmok, Aruba for only 90$/ night. How awesome is that?! Check out the beautiful airbnb

How will you get there? Unless your current location is super super close to the island itself, then you're probably going to have to fly in an airplane. Because the trip is almost 2 weeks the airline tickets are a little pricey. The best deal I have found so far on Google Flights for a round trip to Aruba from Atlanta for 555$. A little pricey, I know. The flight there has one layover in Washington, and the flight back home has one layover in New Jersey.

Below I have made an airline itinerary.

Below I have made a hotel itinerary.

You can decide what you want to do with your time there. Aruba is a beautiful island with many beautiful sights and beaches. What I recommend is a visit to the cool Butterfly Farm, or go snorkeling with Nemo, or if you're not afraid to get dirty doing an ATV tour excursion. There are so many different cool activities to do. You can find the link to activities and pricings here
